I'm grateful for getting to camp in such beautiful places!
I am thankful…
-
For not pissing off that lady who threw her drink on
some man…and his $6000 camera.
-
That I had no idea I was an illegal immigrant for a
week until after I was legal again.
-
For the lovely memories I have of my grandma who passed
away in May. She taught me how to fish, play poker, and swear in Polish.
-
-
For my oh-so-awesome friends who saw me through one of
the strangest years I’ve had. And in particular to the German for not having me
committed.
-
For anyone who has made me mashed potatoes.
-
For “high-fives” and smiles from the cutest Brazilian
ever.
-
That I didn’t get attacked by those wallabies…or bitten
by that snake.
-
For all the amazing places I saw this year.
-
That I am not at work today because I would likely
strangle someone there.
-
For astronomy lessons and photography sessions on a
tiny lake in New Zealand.
-
That my sister and her husband have not gotten divorced
over a game of Settlers.
-
For Reese’s Pieces.
-
That my parents are my parents … as much as I like my
words, I couldn’t even explain this if I tried.
-
For the hot cardiologist at IU North…ok the fact that
he is hot is completely irrelevant. It just had to be said.
-
For my wide angle lens… this needs no explanation.
-
For having long hair that is keeping my neck warm on
this cold dreary morning.
Ok in all seriousness, I am just thankful for the good
moments. In a year full of bad moments, it's the good that sees us through.
Oh yeah, these were in no particular order…I do not value
Reese’s Pieces over my parents.
